About Me
Nice to meet you!
I hope you think I’m cool—my mom does!
My birth name is Elizabeth, my preferred name is Lizzie, and my nickname is Lizard.
At 22, I’m already a seasoned conversationalist—thanks to the extra seven months of dialogue practice I got in the womb as a triplet. Growing up as a triplet gave me years of experience in trying to stand out in anything and everything. That’s where my love for words began—because wowza, a lot of them flowed in that Honda van.
Born and raised in New Orleans, I’ve always been inspired by the eclectic energy of the city (I love that word—eclectic), and I have found that I’ve become a resemblance of that energy myself.
I love ads that make people stop and think. I hate bad ads. (Okay, fine—I secretly love them too, just not when they’re mine.)
Now for the juicy stuff behind my nickname, Lizard (besides the three years of animal sciences during my undergrad:
I’m not a reptile obsessor—I just know the sound of good copy when it clicks, like “Lizard” scrawled on a barista apron.
I’m often mistaken as an event photographer with a closet that contains a separate purse collection designated to hold my camera
There is a 50% chance that a vest will be paired with my daily outfit
Foster kitten parent, but far from a crazy cat lady
Lover of zoos - including my childhood home
Can write words on a paper, but cannot hold the pencil right when doing so
Can eat a jalapeño
Can’t eat a jalapeño without tears dripping down my face
Maintainer of the cool, calm and collected personality
Survivor and thriver of the crazy
Reach out if you are interested in the inner thoughts that cycle my mind weekly, daily, or hourly.
